Impressions please boys and girls. I'm still using 84.21 and after getting burned with 91.31 i'll wait this time before upgrading.

Good to hear, any speed "aka" performance bumps with these new drivers? :D

Good to hear, any speed "aka" performance bumps with these new drivers? :D Gained another 4to 5 FPS in FEAR. Don't know if it's due to the driver but it is exteremely coincidental. the card I'm currently using is the 7600gt. Temps after an hour of playing might hit 60C. With the older 91.31's and .33's I was reaching 67 to 69C GPU temp.:D

That's the same card I have i'm definately trying them out. :toast:

That's the same card I have i'm definately trying them out. :toast:Keep in mind that all my settings on the cpu are on medium except for corpse detail, which is maximum.
On the gpu side:::No AA, no soft shadows, anisotropic4x, videos medium, everything else is maxxed. :D

Well after running these drivers I can say they are VERY stable and I have noticed a performance bump anywhere between 15-20% using the rFactor demo. :D

Jumping in here...

I've noticed over the summer (compared to a surprise cold day last week), that ambient temperature is critical to observed temp C. The same GPU and same BIOS, same drivers can hit a different max C if there is a difference in room temperature. I observed this on my ATI. If the room temperature is 20C then the GPU is usually less than 60 and the fan pretty silent. If the room temperature is 30C then the GPU is in the 70sC and the fan is getting excited.

It has something to do with the temperature gradients, especially the temperature inside the case. It's not a linear but an exponential relationship, ie. if the temperature in the case is 20C and the GPU is at 60C, then the cooling efficiency is significantly better than 4x the rate of a 40C case and a 60C GPU.

FYI.

When you can, try to post ambient temps in addition to GPU temps.

When you can, try to post ambient temps in addition to GPU temps. My room is 72 degrees F. Sorry about the misunderstanding. And yes i understand ambient temps making a diff. If I was put in the middle "Death Valley' in a unairconditioned tin shack with temps of 130F, I realizes nothing would be very cool. Not even with a million fans.Lol :)
