is a 7600gt any good,and how would it compare to a x800gto?.

i need a new card and my mate wants mine.there is a bfg7600gt on ocuk for £88.

i am tempted.

for 62£ more, you can get an x1900xtx

i'm sorry, i'm sure that's useless info, but i don't know what the £ is doing compared to the $ other than dominating

but still, 62£ is something to consider

the 7600gt is around x850xt level in terms of speed and such. Sometimes its better, sometimes its worse... really depends on the game when its all said and done.

get a 7900gt or save a lil and get a x1900xt or gt

tigger, your card now is x800gto? from x800gto to 7600gt is not a worthwhile upgrading.
get 7900gs instead, say Galaxy 7900gs with Vf-900 cooler in RMB 1499(about 188$)

The 7600GT has an advantage over the x850xt, Shader Model 3.0
both of them are cards that cannot utilise well the sm3.0 model so it`s not a disadvantage.the sm2.0b that the X850 uses is enough.the only difference is in 3dmark06...
anyway i agree that the change from X800GTO to 7600GT isnt worth.go for a high-end card.

i will choose a x1800 series card :) , cheap and powerfull compared to the x1900 series
