this show that in games, the most important is the gfx card, not the cpu

I'm honestly wondering why you expected better. That GFX card is woeful at best for games. Nice CPU overclock by the way........

not to mention your timings are really really bad :)
At least from what I understand.

The only thing that a better CPU can do for games, is cut down loading times. Its all about the GPU, as many have already stated here, for games. Slade, what processor did you upgrade from? I am guessing that you shoulda bought a new GPU instead. You could easily get an X800 for bout $100 which is def. a step up.

4-4-4-12 at ddr2 800 is great, it's like 2-2-2-6 at ddr400 :)

4-4-4-12 at ddr2 800 is great, it's like 2-2-2-6 at ddr400 :)But in this case were talking about 4-4-4-12 @ DDR1000 (http://img83.imageshack.us/img83/3716/3d06zo3.jpg), which latency-wise is comparable to DDR500 2-2-2-6. Except that DDR2-1000 yields considerably higher bandwidth compared to DDR1-500.
