Asus x800xt

What mods are there avialable for a x800xt card, can i flash the bios to a x800xt PE? or is it different a core/setup.

The reason why i ask is that im trying to hit the 6k mark on 3d Marks 05.

Below are my comp specs.

Pentium 3.4 cpu
GA-8ANXP-D Mboard
Asus X800xt vcard
Western Digital 74gig 10,000rpm hdd
1 gig kingston ddr2 (dual 512) mem

The highest i got was 5807 on 3dmarks wif the following changes

Catalysist 4.12
DirectX 9c
Turned off Norton
Turned off System Restore
Set AA and AF to the middle (performance - quality bar)
Using AtiTool - Set the vcard core and mem to 531
Set the cpu speed to 3.6ish ...
Removed the side window from the Case for better airflow.

As soon as i increase the core and cpu, the computer hangs or restarts.

Should i just give up or do i have a chance - Thanks Team.

would put all settings on Balanced when running 3dMark (App Preference) and let 3Dmark do the work

So, does that mean i should check "Custom settings" and then make sure App preferremce ticked, or leave it custom settings unchecked and have the scrolling bar in the middle of performance or quality.

Isnt the Asus X800XT already a PE ? didnt think Asus did an XT version. PE clocks being 520/560 and XT being 500/500. Asus names there stuf a little different. Unless its a pci-e you have.

On my config, I can hit 5867 3d marks in 05 with my Asus X800 Pro VIVO at PE speed
