usb/firewire drive benchmark

these are the instrutions same as the hdd benchmark wonder what realy gets a truly higher score firewire or usb2.0

my creative muvo 128mb that is also used as a usb pendrive, it is fast when putting music and taking them out :) , for everything else is slow

well i'm not really up for the competition but as a note my 256mb usb2 key scored in at 12.8mb exactly.





edit- i just tested my girlfriends usb key as well, its a 128mb. It scored in at 9.6mb

heres the pny drive i got w/ my fx5700 vivo

i ran some benches between usb and firewire on my external 300gb hdd in an adaptec firewire/usb enclousure. i was geting around 12-13mb/s on both...perhaps same controller.

its odd that my cheapo 128mb drive (the lexar jumpdrive) beats the better 512 mb version any suggestion as to why?
