Hi, I just bought a Sapphire x1900GT and I overclocked the core to 540 and the memory to 837. Is it possible to clock the memory that much? I've read forums all over the net and I haven't seen anyone clock the memory that high. But it seems to run stable. Any ideas?

Thanks

some times you get a great card like me i bot 2 x1600xts and 1 i can overclock the mem to 835mhz the other 1 i can only over clock the mem to 750mhz so its all about if u get a good 1 or not.

Core to 595
mem stays at default or I get blocky screen!
Any help??

memory timings for the card may be quite aggressive, hence why you cant clock the memory for crap. use rabit to grab the timings and compare with another gt bios.

I think your X1900GT can be the RV570 hence it has neither XL or PRO identifications.

Memory clocking works well in ATITool, I clocked my x1900GT mem up to 702MHz no artifacts.

In AtiTool it says R580LE
I can't budge the mem speed up at all without the screen blocking up and system crash!
Thanks again, Steve

i can clock my x1900gt to 845 mem/590 core
it IS setting the clocks cause i notice performance scaling :)

if you want more out of your core up the voltage to xt stock or above :) (xt stock = 1.45 in rabit or 1.425 in ati tool)

btw ket that was actual mhz not ddr mhz he is clocking his mem quite good :)

I think your X1900GT can be the RV570 hence it has neither XL or PRO identifications. i used to have that problem where i couldn't oc the mem even a mhz i fixed it by changing the ati tool version/settings /driver ver something rather i dont remember lol

It transpires that mine is a ver2 and there is no voltage adjustment in atitool for me!
Is it poss to change mem voltage too?
Any news on my unlock tofu?

Ok, I ditched atitool for now and installed ati tray tools
now I can run gpu@574 and mem@830
No voltage options though?
I hope Tofu will get back to me about my bios!
