i just got a Xtasy 9600 with 256 MB AGP 8X because i fried my ATI 9600 Pro (2003 version) and i got higher clock speeds but i want to know what the max is or if i just need a better overclocking tool than ATITool 0.0.22 i got 469.13/286.88 so far with ATI tool i'm thinking of getting a PCI Slot fan to help cool it off and a Tornado 92mm Case fan for exhaust to get a better clock

look up the D530C Desktop Computer and i am not putting on a cooler cause last time i tried to i forgot to put thermal glue or grease on and i fried it or got some static on it with my previous 9600 pro i had the BFG Heatsinks and Fan this one i got already had a fan (i didn't even know till i opened this baby) i got better clock speeds with this non-pro than i did my previous pro (around 450/268 vs. non-pro 469.13/286.88) the only fans in this case are the CPU fan the stock fan on the card and a gold HD cooler from compusa along with the stock 90mm or 92mm case fan plus a regular desktop fan for me which i am cooling the back of the computer with.

p.s. about the d530C computer i have a P4 2.53 533 MHZ bus (not sure which intel chipset ex 845,855) non-overclockable motherboard (soon going to change that) but i want to know what motherboard i can get that can OC for around $150 that supports DDR2 and Socket T along with OC at a local CompUSA or Bestbuy since my parents make me buy it with my own cash (since i'm 13) and i have the stock 256 DDR RAM stick but i added a 512 stick so it has 768 MB Xtasy 8X AGP ATI Radeon 9600 non-pro 256 MB DDR VRAM. and what company made your 9600 Pro? i will have a wish list on newegg up soon but i may go to compusa and get a new case which is the aeroengine jr ATX (see it at http://www.compusa.com/products/product_info.asp?product_code=314039&pfp=BROWSE ) but i don't need major 3D game requirements just enough to get me by on middle school work i got win XP pro (since my dad is a licensed microsoft partner along with many other companys such as HP, IBM etc. but not retail junkie computer company's such as Dell, Gateway.) my dad said as soon as dual Xeon PC's drop in price we're getting one cause he already has the full version microsoft X-64 bit edition (lemme tell you it is awesome i played a few games on it imagine Doom 3 with out and lag or freezing for just a second. i got the new office version. compaq makes a great computer that meets my needs i'll post it next time i'll swap the case add a few fans and lights and it will be perfect

what coolers (besides the new case i'm getting) can i get at bestbuy or compusa for a Xtasy ATI Radeon 9600 non-pro and can i use arctic silver 5 thermal grease and what are tips on when i put it on without ruining the card from static i lost my anti static wristband.....i have a thought since i forgot to put thermal grease on before and that i used pliers to cut off the pins that held the heat sink for the core to put the fan on could that be why i fried the last one?
