Do You know the maximum value of Over Clock in Sapphire X1600 XT or Pro with AGP ?? I have arleady Radeon 9600 Pro with 128 MB and I want to buy X1600XT or Pro with 256 Mb but I don't know anything about OC this VGA and results in game . If you konw anything tell me please !!! :)

you cant get an X1600XT for agp can you?
anyways, most of the time the OC level depends on the card itself...some cards just OC better than others.
If your upgrading from a 9600 PRO, the X1600 PRO will be a major increase in performance, but i reckon you should get an X800/850 series card over the X1600 due to the 256 bit :)

But x800/x850 card is not SM3.0 card, they are only SM2.0 card. x1600pro is SM3.0 card. SM3.0 is required by Vista.
BTW, x800/x850 should be faster than x1600pro, since they have more physical pipelines than x1600pro.

SM3.0 isnt required for vista...it is only for 'optimum performance'. the x1600 doesnt even cut it for optimum, they say you need an x1800+

however u look at it, needing an X1800 or better just for desktop work is rediculous :p
