Ok, so I tried to find some articles on safe voltages for my processor, found some people say between 1.30 and 1.35.
So, to clear up anything, I raised the CPU voltage through my BIOS to 1.400 (Asus m2n-sli deluxe) and rebooted.
Now, in Windows, I opened up the asus booster tool that came on the mobo cd, and then I opened up CPU-Z, and neither of them are reading the voltage that I set in the BIOS.
Whats going on? I have a screenshot here if someone can explain this to me. It's all sorta new to me, and I'm trying to figure it all out. Thanks guys.

with my E6600, AIBooster doesnt read volts or temps properly, and cpuz doesnt read volts right either.. I find that coretemp works, but it doesnt work for amd's. I'd get some other type of 3rd party stuff to measure volts and temp.. the temp may be right, i heard just the core2's have the temp problem. The volts, most likely incorrect.
I think its called CrystalCPU, idk, but it has accurate voltage readings iirc.. check that out..

Ok thanks, I'll do that.
It does seem as though the temp readings are right... I just think that the voltages are off. Thanks for letting me know that CPUz has a problem with voltages too...

AI booster works fine, however its a bit buggy and seems to interfere sometimes with bios settings. click the little monkey wrench icon in ai booster and set 1.4v.
