My x600xt is overheating at stock speeds. I had lower the core speed to 430 and mem speed to 320 for it to be stable. Im thinking of buying a x700pro to replace it but kinda low on cash right now so im trying to look up some info before i splurge some cash.. hehe
Radeon x600xt 256mb DDR
P4 3.4ghz 50c
case temp at 45c
mobo temp at 44c
1gb pc 3200
250gig SATA HD

hah you are correct my friend it was at temp read 53c idle on my vid card .. removed the side case and temp lowerd to 49. Well thats the last time i buy a sony pc.. any ideas to what i can do for better airflow? I guess its due to the fact that the power source is nearly touching the Vid card.. piece of junk... for now ill remove the side pannel seems to work some..

I OC'ed the vid card core here are the results
Stock speed 503/350 after OC 591/351 stock heatsink and fan.
Gpu idle temp is 45c full load 66c. The temp on the temp chip at idle is 45c 57c at full load.
Next i will oc the memory
Its nice to see what a lil air flow can do :D
Oc'ed the memory but i lowered the cpu clock a bit. Vid card now runs at 585/400 :) Next thing i need to do is replace the wimpy heatsink and fan. Anyone know of a heatsink fan replacement for the x600xt?
Also i noticed my card looks diffrent from other x600's ive seen online.. whuts up with that?
