If you're salaried? I don't blame you - sometimes you need it (I know how it is putting in 60-80 hours work weeks, ugh!)... but, DO make your deadlines!

If you're hourly though?? Make the coins man... think "payday"...

EDIT PART - Know what helps me @ times? LOL, & my boss asked me once about it (I put up a WD "RaptorX" diskdrive as my wallpaper)... he asked:

"What's that?"

I just said "Part of what keeps me working my ass off for you, INSPIRATION to keep this company and ME, working, so I can get one (fastest diskdrive there was at that time for ALL things mostly)"

The day I got it? I showed it to him @ work... he liked it & what I was doing to keep my motors running there... a photo of what I was working for (in part).

P.S.=> Everyday, @ the end of the day, for about 1/2 hour? I web surf like mad... to technical forums & websites for info. I require for work... I am actually ENCOURAGED to do so... & it pays off + works, for ALL concerned (including my employers, especially when it solves a problem)! apk
