Right. I have £60 and I need:

1) New Motherboard

2) New PSU

3) New Case

4) New CPU Cooler (57*C BIOS Idle LMFAO)

And maybe some cool lighting. Can everyone suggest what is best that I get. I would prefer to get as many things as possible, but I want them to be of good quality :D I most need the cooler, case and PSU. To narrow it down I need the cooler and PSU. Second hand bargains aways welcome :D My computer has cut off a couple of times due to "lack of power" and some people say my graphics card is craving power but it's not getting it...is a new PSU best thing to get first? I also just added some new ram, another 2 512's. Will they draw much power??

Your mean per component or total to spend?

Go for a new psu. Looking at your old one you could use it.

And maybe you will have some left for a cpu cooler.

Per component :D And yeah, a PSU might be best. Any suggestions?? I don't want to spend ALL of it but I will if I HAVE to. A seasonic 430W would be nice. Anything better for less or anyone got any second hand PSU's?? To get a new case and PSU would be even better. This case "supports" ATX power supplies, but some of them don't fit!! According to other people that is...

And yeah, some left over from the PSU for a new cooler would be sweeeeeeet :D

I have a broken high quality PSU . 60 pounds turns into roughly 120 dollars (lucky English), and if I had $120 to spend on computer parts, I'd buy (based on your wants)...
Coolermaster Centurion 5 ($50)
430W TT Power supply ($45)
Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 pro ($20)
Of course, that's just what I'd do, what you will do is totally different :) (not to mention prices in England are different from prices in USA).

its a hiper type r 480w, dual +12v rails, 34A total, shiny chrome finish, whisper quiet, it has a 20pin adapter should u need it and pci-e adapter, and lastly its quality just owns, easily up there with the likes of tagan, an all-round solid reliable unit really

bank transfer is cool with me, or u can just send the beans via paypal. oh and heres the Webpage (http://www.hipergroup.com/English/products/hpu-4s480.html) with all the specs, the model i have has an actual converter for main atx power tho.

all i mean is u have a plug-like thing u connect to the 24pin connection the psu has as default, and that turns it into a 20pin connection. so what route u wana go with? paypal or bank transfer? :D

Casheti

Bank transfer is cool. I don't have paypal, if you post some pics, and me likey, then my buy (ey) :D

Casheti
10-21-2006, 12:28 AM
And it'll definitely connect to that board up top? I really need to know, because I know nothing about PSU connections. I don't wannt buy a PSU I can't connect to my mobo, see? :D

If I see the pics, and it'll connect, I'll get down to the bank as soon as I can :D Do you still have the case fan it came with, too? Or are you still using that?

Ketxxx
10-21-2006, 01:47 PM
yep itll fit that atx connection, there are only 20 or 24 pin, and the psu from me covers both :D what case is it going in, depending on that u made need to find a specific micro atx psu.

Casheti
10-21-2006, 03:35 PM
Don't worry, my case takes ATX PSU's :D

Casheti
