i recently purchaced a gigabyte x800xt pe and use the ati tool for overclocking ect.... was wondering if anyone could assist in the adjustments of the memory timing for better performance. Im very familar with overclocking my cpu system memory ect but dont know jack about video card memory settings. I have Artic Coolings Ati Silencer 4 after market cooler on the card and rarely does it exceed about 52c. Any assistance would be greatly appericated.

if it's the 256MB one (I don't know if there is a 128MB version), then I think you should be able to over clock it to at least 600Mhz each, depending on memory make on the card.

On an x800pro vivo / x800xt / x800xt pe you can only have Samsung 1.6ns memory. It is possible to adjust the timings for better performance but I don't know which ones you should change and whether reducing them or increasing them in order to run at higher clock speeds is more effective.

Probably best to just try setting them as low as possible (go through them one by one and reduce ones that don't cause artifacts by doing so) and seeing if it makes a difference and then increasing some of them and seeing if you can overclock your memory further.

This will take you a long time but I doubt you will find someone here who can tell you exactly what to change. Sorry if that's not what you wanted to hear.
