What ISP are you with? I'm with Talktalk and at the moment it's only 2meg but should go to 8meg in the next few months...

2 meg at the mo here, just upgraded to 4meg should have in about 10 days.
We got a talktalk phone line a few months back with the 8meg broadband thrown in as guys in the uk prob know, but tiscali (current provider) are being complete w*****s about changing it over, so got to cancel it, which means going offline for god knows how long!!!:banghead:
Not to start bashing vista, but i'm glad its not here otherwise i'd prob have re-register it coz it cant bloody phone home, Which MS wont care about!!! aaahh, rant over:)

Good God!! Hell I am perfectly happy right now with my 1.5MB (Which runs 2-3 meg most of the time). I had Dial Up until August of this year, talk about shitty.

when i lived in the dorms, we had this program called i2hub (it's been shut down sadly)

basically it was bittorrent and kazaa (you could pull from multiple users, and it wasn't hosted by any site, but the program was nice)

the only restriction? you had to have a T1 line to play :D i was getting a full 8.5mb/s actual download from people all over the country. it was truly glorious

now i'm on a 5mb/s line, which is fine, esp cuz i2hub aint around anymore

I've 768K/s. My maximum bandwidth is between 60-70KB. Sad..Hate to download torrents sometimes. :(

Well my torrents get limited to about 5kilobytes a second by Talktalk I think, but I don't do any real torrenting so I don't care. I did have dialup until April this year, so just having ADSL to play online games finally is nice. :D

i dont use torrent.i use rapidshare.you get the full bandwidth of your connection on downloads.no spyware or viruses and no pop ups.its £6 a month for 3000mb a day allowance.
