which is better for my rig...xp pro or media center

i just aquired a fresh copy of both xp pro and the newest version of media center...which would be better for my old ass gaming rig????..i don't know the dif. betwwen the 2....also my girl uses this comp for video burning editing and photo editing...which, of course we have multiple progs. including the newest photoshop cs

media center its basicly pro with a media approach. both are fine, but if you have an old machine, stick with pro. media center is little more fancyier but it takes more resources.

Prob. wouldnt matter since you wont use the features.
But Windows XP Pro allows you to customize and access more items within the OS.

i wouldnt take media center over pro ever. then again i always use remote desktop and the admin tools that come with pro.

i figured as much...just didn't know if it was worth it for my girls photo and video editing and what not...been lokkinf into it...and it doesn't look worth it....i've been definetly seeing some VERY good things about osx though....been really considering it..

unless you have a TV turner card to put in the rig go with the Pro as stated above Media center is a Hog on the sys and mostly Bells & farts
