Problems OC 'ing 9800 XT

Hey Guys, I am using ATI tool to OC my card, and I am using the find Max function, but ATI is underclocking my card. My default GPU core is @ 412, but when I scan for artificats for about an hour, that drops down to 405. Any help would be appreciated.

what cooling do you have in your case?

The 9800 XT has the stock cooling, and one fan at the rear of my case. But I really don't think it is heating issue, as their is 0 errors....

well if it takes the clock down even though there havn't been any errors then that's a problem with the program. You could always do it manually, try using this (http://www.techpowerup.com/articles/overclocking/33) guide.

You're using the latest stable version of ATI Tool right?
