View Full Version : any recommended software? (video card)

any sotware recommended besides overclocking tools to up the performance in my video card (nvidia 5200 fx ultra 128mb agp8x)
running xp pro

About the only thing you can do to a video card from the software side is overclock it, and in a few cases flash the BIOS to a better/modded one.

Yeah well I'm useing 84.21 because the 90x series was crap, could'nt do AAAF. I have it overclocked from 325/650 to 360/690 without vmodding, and I don't want to vmod it..
I guess thats too bad :(

You can mess with BIOS settings like AGP aperture size. And of course quality settings in the drivers.

moded drivers can also tweak some things but not really ive heard that omega drivers have better image quality then standard ati and i personaly have proven to myself that dna drivers did have an increased performance in certain games http://www.dna-drivers.com/index.php... there latest ati is 6.10 and nvida 83.10
