Is there any way to disable these? When I empty the DLLCache my system runs faster and I never emptied the DriverCache; is it safe to do so?

They're iirc, I am fairly certain @ least, but admittedly NOT 110% positive anymore on, part of "WFP" (Windows File Protection & System File Protection)...
I.E.-> They cache copies of original Microsoft libs & .exe's (or, updated ones from service packs & hotfixes) to avoid "DLL Hell" issues, when other programs attempt to install their libs as publicly accessible DLL's on the System %PATH% (typically to %SystemRoot% (%WinDir%\system32) & its subordinate folders).
Can you run w/ out them? Maybe, but I have not tried that myself...
Is it 'wise' to do so?? Probably not... not if you do not want to risk DLL-HELL & if the system even LETS you do it in the first place (never have tried myself, & for the reasons noted above).
