9700 pro 256bit 128mb overclock

Hi guys, I just received powercolor 9700 pro 256bit 128mb AND ati silencer that goes with the card. I used artic silver thermal paste when installing the cooler. Probably everything I could do for the videocard cooling other than water cooling.

well, I bought the refurb one for $120
my system spec
2.8e @ 3.6
ASUS p4p800 - e
geil DDR 500 (512 * 2)
powercolor 9700 pro 128mb
lots of fans to cool the system

Questions

1. Best I could get with ATI tool was 351/333 and 3dmark03 score was 5250. Is this sounds right? I guess this is better than 9800, but not as good as 9800 pro, and I saw someone else in this forum who claimed that he OCed it to near as 9800 pro. How did they do it?

2. Can my card flashed to something else? like 9800 pro?

3. I have no idea about the ram timing in ati tool. How should I set it? if anyone has same card, can you tell me the best timing you got?

one more thing, what do you guys think of gigabyte 9550 128mb card? I just got it for my mom's comp. can I overclock it?

-You cant flash the 9700 Pro to anything
-Those people who got it to 9800 Pro speeds probably have nice watercooling systems

Should I just be satisfied with the current clock 350 / 333 ?

Well, 9600 pro and xt seems to have much more core and memory clock, but it has 4 pipelines and those are all 128 bit cards, on the other hand 9700 pro has less core clock and memory clock, but has 8 pipelines and 256 bit. I got 9700 pro mainly because it had more pipelines and 256bit structure. Was my decision bad? 9600 series seems to have much more overclocking ability too.

9700 pro refurb was under the refurb section of Newegg, but I guess it's gone now. I don't see it anymore.

The 9700 Pro is much better than a 9600XT, and it is a good overclocker usually.
The 9700 Pro has a completely differecnt GPU than the 9600 series, and it performs much better at lower clock speeds.
