Im sure people have seen this before
http://ati.amd.com/technology/windowsvista/areyouvistaready.asp
but im interested in seeing what it says for different CPUs under the CPU Speed Section. It states the actual clock speed and then gives an index type score.
So could people please state their CPU/clockspeed/indexed speed.
Thx
If this has been done before could someone show me where plz.

My CPU is rated at 4.49GHz, and I pass all tests, but when I clicked on the recommended upgrade I get this:
http://img.techpowerup.org/061115/WTF.jpg
LMAO, so my card has 256MBs and is 100% DirectX 9 with full hardware Pixel Shader 3.0 support, yet I have to get an X1800? :wtf:
I think I'll pass on that recommended upgrade for the time being :p

Ok ive worked out now.
For AMD cpus it takes the xxxx+ rating as the cpu rating.
For Intel the actual clock speed.
For dual core CPUs it multiplies this by 1.5. So my e6300 only gets 2.8 while mustang_man's 4200+ gets 6.3
Theyre supposed to be similarly performing CPUs :wtf:

The recommended upgrade will be an x1900xt since x1800xts arent being sold anymore. Just click on the link and youll see.

If it's just the actual speed and the rated speed you are looking for, Everest can tell you that. Under computer, then summary. Mine is 219x12 2633MHZ 4100+.
