hello all does anyone know how high the coolant level should be for a liquid cooling system? i have the big water 735 and i have it between high and low is that good, all it says in the book is make sure the coolant is flowing freely in the tubing. so is there a such thing as too high? also does anyone know of any additives that i can put in so i can see that the coolant is circulating? i like to be able to look over through my windows and see that the coolant is actually circulating any help would be appreciated:toast:

fill it all the way really.. The pump will heat from there being air pockets. air pockets will get stuck in the pipe and reduce waterflow, ect.
You can get a flow reading meter if you wanna know exactly how much is flowing, but I check flow by pinching the line, if I feel resistance, i know its flowing. You'll also know by checking your temps. too high = not enough flow.

water is almost like a heatsink, the less water you run the warmer the system will run, kinda like a car, except in a car you need space to let the water expand because it gets pretty hot...

i filled it all the way up to the high mark and opened up my bedroom window so the fan that blows air through the radiator can have some cool air now my temps at idle are 19c is that cold enough, how low can i drop my temps before i get condensation? im assuming a few degrees above freezing?

I got a great idea! Icecubes! joking, I know nothing / dont mind me! Ice cubes would prob cause condensation.
I would say your guess of a few, 2-3 degrees above 0 would cause condensation, depending on humidity it could be a little higher?!?

living in the great white north...outside temps 3 to 10 c these days put whole rad/fan unit outside window run prescott at 3.9ghz and it will not go above 25c under full load :D

condensation would depend on how low below ambient temperature the system is running at. so if it is at 19*C and your room is 25*C you should already have condesatiion if i am not mistaken...
