Tried Systools last night. Cannot monitor CPU Temp.
Gives error that the cpu*.dll file cannot be loaded.
Can monitor all other temps.
Looks like it only supports the AM2RD480 motherboard
I have a AM2RD580Adv Sapphire motherboard.
Anything I can do to fix this?
Thanks
Reinstall system tools?
you shouldn't rely on programs to monitor they tend to be inaccurate btw, just to let you know

Thanks Yin, I have tried it several times. (re-installing)
The problem is I run a water cooled CPU. The software for the motherboard says
that the CPU is -130 Cº one second and +128 the next. Reboots the PC the whole time.
The bios says that it is 38Cº idle.
Need software to warn me if the CPU is getting too hot.
Sapphire tech support told me too use this application.
It does not inspire a lot of confidence in the Sapphire product. :banghead:

Speedfan gives goofy readouts on my Crossfire 3200 board, just like what GrimSleeper described with his mobo software. I found a little program called Core Temp, that seems to work for me. It can also log temps. http://www.thecoolest.zerobrains.com/CoreTemp/

What Board do you have Wile E ?
I have the AM2RD580Adv. Does Core temp give better readings?
Thanks.

I use everest, I find it quite reliable! ;)

I have the ECS KA3-MVP. Core Temp's readouts seem right to me. No fluctuations, and the temps it gives are right in line with others I've seen with setups similar to mine.
As Alcpone mentioned, Everest works just as well, but I find it to be a little overkill for just monitoring temps.

I agree, the diodes have to be fairly much spot on these days, with intel having thermal throttling and the like, im sure amd have something along them lines to!
