If it actually runs thats awesome!! I honestly didn't even know they had seadoos that far back. I thought they were a fairly recent 80's type deal.

Suprising how many people didn't notice the SKI (meaning SNOW) part. Those things are a blast, and for $100, you can get a lot of fun out of it because your not worried about totaly wrecking it!!

LOL!

Those things are BIG FUN, but I remember a buddy & me used to drive them (his, my family/I personally didn't own one) when I was a boy!

:)

* The ONLY hassles I felt, lol, we had? Was we'd ride it for 1 hour & have to work on it for another 3 @ times... it wasn't the "most steady/reliable" piece of equipment, but it wasn't ever intended for that!

I think his Dad got it for him to learn about tinkering w/ motors, lol, more than anything... @ least, it seemed that way to me, looking back on it now... lol, because of the time we spent getting it & keeping it running!

not necessarily, ever heard of water-skis? they probably confused it with jet-ski (water)

the seat is worn out, the only thing that was holding it on was the wiring for the taillight, which finally gave when i rig went buy.

Actually, not far from my place a kid did some sort of world record-breaking run on water.. I don't understand why, but it's kinda fun.

i think if you stop when on the water tho' they sink, its only the forward motion that keeps them on the surface.

it'd be a gutter tho' if it was a cuppla grand 'doo.

Stick to the snow ,I've seen 'em on water , they definitly sink if you lose momentum or turn to hard an put to much weight on 1 ski. It's not terribly damaging if you can get the motor shut down before you suck in too much water.

Kinda jealous back in 74 my soon to be step father bought 4 snowmobiles for of our family for Xmas and before we got a chance to ride them, some bastard stole em from his place. I got to keep the snowmobile suit I had gotten though. lol Then not long after we moved to AZ where there are few places it even snows!!
