Specs:
AMD athlon 3700 oc to 2.7 Ghz, mother board-MSI K8 NEO 4, Memory-OCZ pc 3200 platinum edition 2 gb, VGA-ATI X1900XT 512 mb 722 core 792 mem, PSU-Ultra x connect 500w, HDR-160 gb western digital 7200 rpm. DVD-NEC Dual Layer DVD±R/RW Drive. 19 inch Samsung SyncMaster 955df
Mods:
Cut fan grills out for improved air flow, other then that it’s a stock case. 80mm blowing into the x1900 for extra cooling.
This is what I would call a budget gaming pc, its no Intel qx6700 with sli 8800gtx’s, but it still plays all the games out today with maxed graphical settings. I will stick with windows xp pro for probably another year before I go VISTA. When I do go with vista I might get a new direct X 10 card, probably a ATI\AMD r600 card, maybe a 8800 gts if the price is rite, and a new dual core cpu and new memory.
