Specs:
AMD athlon 3700 oc to 2.7 Ghz, mother board-MSI K8 NEO 4, Memory-OCZ pc 3200 platinum edition 2 gb, VGA-ATI X1900XT 512 mb 722 core 792 mem, PSU-Ultra x connect 500w, HDR-160 gb western digital 7200 rpm. DVD-NEC Dual Layer DVD±R/RW Drive. 19 inch Samsung SyncMaster 955df

Mods:
Cut fan grills out for improved air flow, other then that it’s a stock case. 80mm blowing into the x1900 for extra cooling.

This is what I would call a budget gaming pc, its no Intel qx6700 with sli 8800gtx’s, but it still plays all the games out today with maxed graphical settings. I will stick with windows xp pro for probably another year before I go VISTA. When I do go with vista I might get a new direct X 10 card, probably a ATI\AMD r600 card, maybe a 8800 gts if the price is rite, and a new dual core cpu and new memory.

Its a xblade, they are quite common on ebay and dont look like a bad case at all! Nice looking led's and lighting, my akuma case is very similar, but has a wire meshing on the side for extra ventilation and I can see my black lighting a treat through it!

Nice attempt, I will give you a 6

I have 3d mark 06 professional, my vga score is 2480 that’s VGA ALONE, altogether I get a bench mark of 5400 The VGA score is just done with return to the proxy gone and fire fly forest. The CPU alone is about 1100, so again all together a final score of 5400.
And yes I love that Zelman cooler :)

How is that Zalman working out for you? What kind of temps are you getting? I'm wondering if my 2.6ghz overclock barrier is due to heat or just a product of SOI... thanks!

At full load my CPU temps are about 56c-58c, I have never seen it go past 58c. At idle its stays at about 45c, the cooler is really quite to I love it, even with the fan at 100% it is still not bad. Now the x1900xt at 100% fan speed is another story, its loud but it doesn't bother me I think it sounds cool, you cant hear it when you have head phones on in a game.
