needs at 480w psu

this came from a reply to an email to sapphire. i asked how many amps is need for the 12v rail they replied with you need at least a 480w psu.




anyone know how many amps it needs?

on my antec 550w my 12v rail has 24a.

Minimum 20 amps on 12v rail. For o-clocking 22-26 amps.

Yours will be fine, card manufacturers normally factor in some "headroom" in their quotes in any case so yours will have no problems.
