After 1 year of heavy use with this (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16826106935) headset, it decided to crap out. This was a good headset for the cost. I usually have to replace headphones and headsets about every 6 months cause they just plain crap out cause from the heavy use. But im thinking about trying out a different headset brand this time. Does anyone recommend a good headset that is similar in design with my late headset? I do not want to spend no more than 60 dollars US please.

Also, I could use a good 2.1 speaker setup. I do not want to spend no more than 50 dollars US for a speaker setup. I have very little experence with speaker setups and any helpful hints are encouraged by all which can be included with the speaker setup that you think I should buy.

I thank you all in advance for your suggestions.

Logitech gamers headset or any plantronics. Make sure it's non USB.

I love that headset. I still have it and it works great for me!

But anyways, other Logitech headsets, and the Plantronic headsets are great and comfortable for gaming.

It seems that I would stay with logitech for headsets but I would like some suggestions for a 2.1 speaker setup.

I've always had good success with Logitech speakers aswell. The Logitech X-230 2.1 speakers can be found for around $50.

On another note, Namslas90 why do you suggest non USB? I'm not sure about Cybie1111's situation, but I like having a USB headset as I can set my teamspeak to work through the headset and have game sound through the speakers. Just would like your input if you know of issues caused by USB headsets.

If you are interested, I have got a set of Harman Kardon HK695 2.1 speakers I will sell for $25+ shipping. They sound awesome.

Would these work well for me? This setup has some good reviews and it will match my color scheme.

I do not want a 5.1 speaker setup, let alone making room for them. :o

The X-530's sound great, so the X-520s should sound great too.
