low volume level problems

hi all my computer s lolume levels use to be great but now have to have volume set at max to hear anything any ideas of the cause of my loss of volume? thanks

Start with with simple things. Double check your volume knob, then move on to checking all of your connections. If it's neither of those, get back to us with some more info about your computer's hardware and software.

have you set the Wave volume high enough?

Is this volume problem everywhere or just with certain applications? AC3 for example is often very low by default, you can boost such things in the plugin.
