Specs:
Asus Crosshair, A64 3500+ Orleans @ 2.906GHz 1.44v, 2x1GB XP8000 @ 1163MHz, Gigabyte 6800GT @ 440\1.23GHz, SoundMAX 7.1, SATA 250GB Maxtor DiamondMAX 10, 16MB cache & NCQ, 16x DVD-RW, 16x DVD combo, 650w Mushkin Quadrail.

Mods:
Mod 1; All stock thermal materials replaced. Mod 2; "Copper" heatpipe system on Crosshair removed & lapped for better thermal properties. Mod 3; Zalman VF900 fitted to 6800GT. Mod 4; HS removed from the back of the 6800GT, lapped to a mirror finish & legs sanded down for a perfect contact. Mod 5; Slimline fan fitted to the back of the 6800GT to aid cooling the lone HS & passive nF5 chipset HS. Mod 6; Heavily customised 6800GT BIOS. Mod 7; Customised Crosshair BIOS boot logo. Mod 8; Freezer 64 Pro HS base lapped to a perfect mirror finish. Mod 9; Replaced stock Green LED fan in PSU with a blue LED fan. Mod 10; Firmware on HDD & opticals updated. Mod 11; Cable management. Mod 12; Custom air ventilation system. Mod 13; Air funnel system for 80mm side intake fan adjusted. Mod 14; Added a bunch of bling. Mod 15; Made EMI shield for SoundMAX 7.1 add-in board. Mod 16; Win XP Pro highly optimised.

I think thats all the mods I've done, might be a few others but I can't remember them. Explaining the custom air system is hard to do without a diagram, so I'll do one and add it to the pics :p Starting from the bottom; the front intake blue LED 120mm fan blows air over the HDD, keeping it nice and cool, the rest of the air flows to the back mounted fan on the 6800GT, then proceeds to the VF900 before finally leaving the back of the case via some removed blanking plates. Freezer 64 Pro is also mounted as is for a specific reason; blue LED 80mm intake fan blows "clean" air in from directly outside the case, the air is picked up by the Freezer 64s fan, which simultaneously cools the CPU and the silent Crosshair heatpipe system, any hot air should then be quickly exhausted by the 120mm aluminium exhaust fan, meanwhile the built-in Mosfet cooling solution the Freezer 64 has directs a steady (and what should be constantly cool air, thanks to the blue LED 80mm side intake fan) stream of air over the DDR2 modules, the warm air thats created as a result from cooling the modules then rises and is extracted via the PSUs "pull-push" fans. Complex, isn't it? :p

I'm interested, why is the AC Freezer 64 placed backwards? Wouldn't it completely negate/fight against the airflow of the 120mm exhaust? I think that it wouldn't do too much good for the RAM if the CPU and exhaust fans were fighting...oh well. It still looks pretty :), 8/10.

I'll do that diagram so folk can see how the air should flow (theoretically that is, taking into consideration which way the fans are also spinning)

Oh I get it now, I didn't quite see the extra fan you were referencing too (didn't read your post either xD).

typically, gpu doesnt exceed 54c load anymore, idles about 40c, gpu voltage @ 1.5v. cpu idles around 35c @ 1.45v 2.95GHz, load is something like 48c. chipset loads @ about 54c, 300FSB.

anyway wheres the critics, you need to point out what u dont like before i know what to think about changing :p

ed- ok whos been voting 1s and 4s? ive never sen any pc in the case gallery deserving of 1s or 4s, for shame on those ppl voting 1s and 4s, for shame.

none, dracula case, that i modded a bit to get what i wanted (dragon style case) i mean hell, just how many proper dragon cases have you seen with wings :p VC will be replaced, just a case of when i find a card i can settle on. in the meantime it still plays oblivion well

I see this case's base model a lot, well done but im a UV whore and the modding which was done to you're case does'nt emit much light (such as that 1 CCFL on the bottom instead of 2 inside, 1 on bottom and 1 on top or a side). Wish you put more lighting into it thats all really, whats the point of a nice case if you can see it during the day and it barely catches your eye during the night? I should post my XION II up to show how sick it lookz ^.^ The specs look quite safe, agree with Eagle on uppin ur cpu and G-card a bit.

~7 / 10~

Great job ketxxx
I have that case as well (black version though)

What is the fan on the bottom (in between the GPU and soundcard) connected to?
How did you put it there?

Incredible looking case! Maybe toss another cathode in there to even out the light? 8/10

Could try putting a fan over the empties in the back. Would help keep things going the direction you want instead of relying on the slightly positive pressure to do it. Turn the whole shebang into a front to back wind tunnel. Figuring out how to mount it there might take some creativity, though :)

Jeeze I forgot how insane that memory score in Sciencemark was.. I cant even begin to touch that with a C2D.. or can I...??.. Hmm....
