Hello guys i have one question... I'm trying to overclock my friends x800xt vivo to xtpe and when I'm trying overclock in normal way i get a lot of artifacts:

But when i set options to old scaning method I get artifact free screen:

I'm using ati tool 0.26, I tried several versions but I always get same results...
So my question is: Is it safe to flash it to XT PE speeds or should I leave it at XT speeds, or is it any another way to be shure that card can handle XT PE speeds?

run 3dmark05 @ XTPE speeds if it artifacts/crashes it cant handle the speeds then run aquamark3 right after if 3dmark is ok and check for artifacts if they are ok it should handle the speeds just fine

Use the "old scanning method" for X800XT and 3DMark03 not 05. Look for atrifacts especially in "Troll's lair" and "Ragtroll" tests. If your card can run stable at 530/570MHz then flash it with X800XT PE BIOS.

Ok I tried to run artifact scaning and 3dmark03 together, and I didn't notice any glitches or graphical anomalies... Tested on 530gpu 570mem speed... I think I'm going to flash it to XT PE version...

Now I have only one question: Is it old scaning method realible when it comes to artifact scaning, just to be sure to tell my friend that flashed card is not going to die, becouse of overclock?

Thank you for answers.
