more RAM or better RAM

im not sure what do to, go for more RAM go i have 2gb or getter better RAM and sell mine but only end up with 1gb?!!!

i currently have Corsair 2x512MB DDR400 value ram and it runs up to 258mhz on 2.7v may go futher i dont know till i install my new mobo!!!

I say go for more ram. 2x 1024 is great for upcoming games and your pc wiil work a bit faster.
Sell your value ram and go fo some ddr2 (overclocking) ram. What board are you going to get?

if he goes ddr2, he has to go AM2 ;), ad i doubt he wants that, on the other hand good dr memory has it weight in gold nowadays :ohwell:

would go for ddr2 but im keeping 939 at the moment and ive just got a dfi crossfire mobo!good timming lol!!

but then im also thinking my next upgrade will mean i have to get dd2 so should i just stick it out with 1gb?!!!

If you noy going to run Vista you could stick with 1 gig. :D

Games perform a lot better with 2gig than 1gig. I suggest to grab another gig

Yep get another GB of RAM. If you are going 4x 512mb remember the RAM will be running @ 2T (and probably @ 333MHz) for stability ;)

Ideally you want 2x 1GB sticks of RAM but Im sure you will get a nice performance increase by going 4x 512mb anyway :)

go for 2 gigs, if you can get it. Sell the value ram, or keep it for a rainy day.

no m8 stick with DDR400 as this will help with your CPU overclock ;)
