ok so got my e6300 and asrock conroexfire-esataII today, put it in my old case (dam ebay paid for thermaltake case on 29/12/06 not received it or refund) with 1gb adata ddrII 800 5.5.5.15 and am using my x1600pro until i get my his x1950pro platinum tomorrow :rockout:
anyway, im rambling, just done a couple of quick benches on 3dmark03,everest home and super pi mod 1.5.
my board doesnt support ddr800 so ive dropped it down to 533 and set my timings at 3.4.4.12 to account for it although i may be able to tweak them a bit further but cas latency of 3 on 533 isnt bad i think also my board has a 300fsb wall so im running my e6300@300fsb 2.1ghz, and my x1600pro at 590/445 the same i used to do my benches with my x2 (which is all i need tbh). so heres my scores. :pimp:
everest mem latency 70.5ns (not great but like i said there should be room for improvement)
super pi mod 1.5 1m 26.735s (11 seconds faster than my x2 3800 @ 2.5ghz)
3dmark03 8250 200 points better than my last rig this was before i tightened my timings(bear in mind people this is with my x1600pro hence why i chose 03 and not 05/06 and why the score is so low)
