x800PRO vivo DELL 8300

Hi everyone, well here i go for my first bout of o/c. Just a few questions though.

SPECS...
dell 8300
p4 3ghz
Stock psu 250w
connect3d x800pro with vivo
2 x 256mb ram
2 x 512 ram
400gb sata
120gb ide
dvd/rw
dvd

Im wanting to o/c my g/card to unlock to an XT. First off im waiting on a arctic cooling silencer 5 version 2 for it to replace the stock cooling.

What im not sure of is that the bios is locked on my dell in which there is no access whatsoever to the ram timings, voltages etc. All thats on show is the usual stuff like boot order etc. Do i need to alter my ram if i want to overclock my card or can i just flash the bios and tweak the card only ?

you need to make sure that card is unlockable first.
you do this by:
1) download atitool on this site
2) install it and open it
3) hold shift and click on the settings tab
4) take a screenshot by pressing "print screen" on your keyboard, then go into pain and click edit>paste.
5) save it to your computer
6) upload the screenshot here and post it in this thread!

im on the laptop just now and my rig is packed away while im doing some diy in the house but i should be back up and running soon. Then ill be able to upload a piccie. If it is overclockable does it matter about me not being able to adjust ram timings, voltages?

you can oc your graphics card no matter what, but we need to see if you can unlock to an xt.
