I am using 6800 and need a cooler
The stock one are noisy, it's frustate me alot.
I am thinking of
ZALMAN VF900-Cu
Artic Cooler NV Sliencer 5
Artic Cooler Accelero
The thing is NV 5 doesn't cool doen the Capacitor
Accelero's design are somewhat.... weirdo
ZALMAN Cool all round but there is something I Think it's not right
I You wrer me, which one would you choose

I'm very happy with the Artic Cooler NV Sliencer 5 and I't super silent, even at 100% fan speed

But is the PWM runs hot
because the fan never blow anything to help Capacitors

I have a Zalman VF900-CU and it works well on my spare PC which uses an AGP Nvidia 6800. I've tried a few different coolers on this AGP card, and on my X1950pro, the VF900 was by far the easiest to install, not to mention, the most efficient in cooling, both the GPU and the RAM (with the small Ramsinks).

Your capacitors shouldn't be running hot. If it does, it means there is a problem elsewhere. Possibly the incorrect power (current transfer) rating capacitor. It happens with manufacturers using cheaper parts.

It's cool outside the case, but hot inside.
Guest, it's my 6 HDDs -*-
I love NV Sliencer, why the fan doesn't blow Capacitor.
Can we mod the fan to fit there ??

Ah, 6HDD's, that explains it. I still recommend the Zalman VF900 as that will also cool the capacitors, and RAM as it comes with some ramsinks.

Thermopylae_480 has the Arctic silencer on his 6800 and it works great.
I have the VF900 on my X800 and it works great too.
I don't think you can go wrong with either one.

I had to Drill a Few holes on the top side to cooler to keep cool the Voltage Bridge on my AGP version 6800, Keeps everything cool.
