i am in need of some hardware ideas for a good HTPC!
here are my reqs:
I want be able to view and record HDTV at the same time
something fairly low power.
These are some ideas that i have for SOME of the hardware:
Seagate 500 SATA2 HD
SAMSUNG 18X DVD+R SATA
LIAN LI PC-C30I B Black Aluminum ATX Mid Tower Computer Case
i thought about going with a Turion64 processor w/ a gig of ddr400 RAM
do i really need a video card or could an onboard ATI video chipset produce the resolutions i need, 720p, 1080i and p.
