I just started doing some studying on how to do oc. (i m pretty much a noob:respect: )
My rig:
intel C2D E6600 2.4Ghz (looking 2 oc +3.0Ghz)
ZALMAN CNPS9500 LED
ASUS Commando
ADATA DDR2 800 5-5-5-15
sparkel 7950GT(homemade DIY heatsink and dual 80mm HSF);)
PSU 500W
1. I'm wondering when should I increase any of them and which one should I do it first?:confused:
-Vcore
-DIMM
-NB
At what point should I stop increasing Vcore and go for NB
2.If I change my dram from 800mhz to 533mhz (1:1) would I ever need to increase DIMM voltage?:confused:
3.If I chang the ram timing would I need to increase NB voltage?(I know DIMM voltage is a must need):confused:
IF anyone is kind enough would you guys plz tell me all the voltage and FSB settings 4 E6600 and the rig in use.:p
