new mother board suggestions

Ok power outage zapped my cpu and I can't see changing cpu when I have the cash to go better. I'm thinking 680i evga mother board with a e6300. but what do you guys think ?

The board deserve much bigger CPU...

6300 has great OC ability...

you should easily get 3.5ghz for 24/7 out of that cpu,and with air cooling.

those 4300's look good too (higher multi than 6300), therefore o/c fsb to 1066(6 series c2d default) and voila, fast cpu with less stress on motherboard, however the price is too close to 6xxx c2d at the moment, but thats cause they only just been released, where 6xxx have had time to drop to a low price
