I'm awaiting the arrival of my p5w, and would like to know what ddr2 you guys are using and what to avoid. I've got the ASUS Qualified Vendors List and it's pretty darn sparse.
I've seen a lot of you with G.Skill ddr2 800 listed in your specs, and since it's not on the P5W's QVL I thought I'd check to see what other modules are working well for you that might not yet be on the list.
in the mail:
P5W
e6400 c2d
AC Freezer Pro
2x 250gb seagate perpendicular drives (raid 0)
HIS x1950pro (till the next wave of gpus come)
some Tt fans
already have:
Coolermaster s4000 sx-1 case
250gb seagate sata
FanMaster fan controller (might not bother)
several coolermaster fans
need:
DDR2
PSU
DVD-rw (RMA 2 samsung sh-182 so far....)
strobe light (for the dance party)
