I got a homemade heatsink and a dual 80mm fan(10*c~20*c off idle&load) and I m looking to oc it.
ROOM TEMP:31*C
30 min idle TEMP:48*C
30 min load TEMP(highest grahpic demending game I got):71*C
note ROOM TEMP is 31*c(very hot):ohwell:
Does anyone have a 7950GT if so whats your spec and how much did it heat up.

I m wondering if there is any tool that can test for artifactes(snow) or do I just have to run 3Dmark and play high graphic demending games ???

Those temps are still bad, just get a better, "real" aftermarket cooler, like the VF900CU before you think about Ocing because those temps are barely respectable anyway.

The DIY heatsink and hsf is great a after market cooler wont be cooler than my one becuase my heatsink is aluminuiam(140mmX130mm with some minor cut offs) from my dad's $1000 subforfuer(broken ofcouse) and dual 80mm running at full speed(did not connect the senser line). Most after market HSF wont not be able to have 20*C off!!!

NOTE WELL: the ""REAL"" aftermarket HSF did not test at 31~34*C
