as you read I really dont know what happen they were'nt oced just a little but might have the 2.45v's could of killed one of them cuz the tim where at 4-4-4-8

cuz it wouldnt boot with both of them in and with one at a time samething with one stick and the other it worked in all of the slots
so which test is good to test the mem plz, cuz i have to go to work before im late:) post a link to if it isnt to much to ask :toast:

U can even run this: http://www.mersenne.org/freesoft.htm for couple of hours and see if fails or not.

Most RAM runs at above 2.45V doesn't it?
well look at the pic i think it is bad this is with one stick and the other one doesnt do this :cry:

Mine is 1.8v stock. It's sitting at 2.20v and I thought I was pushing it.

mines at 2.3,but that is the manufacturers specs.i've had em to 2.4v,tho' they dont seem to like that much.

Think I've got mine at 2.6 or 2.7V

OCZ is cool and its still under warrenty
ddr runs at voltage well above ddr2 safe limits, 2.45 is overkill without some good 80m, high rmp fan on top of it, that was probabily the cause :ohwell:

well there working :confused: but newegg is aready going to send me a new pair dont want one to die later then haveing to go through Crucial i dont know how they are but newegg is faster :D
well i had my 9" fan blowing cold air from the outside and i think it was the damn P4 cuz i've had it at 1195mhz at 4-4-4-8 with my C2D and it's never had a prob. but now i know to take care of my stuff cuz its not going to be cheap if something really bad happens;)

2.4 is overkill, i would only use it for bench, i keep mine at 2.275 and they're a bit hot with a noiseblocker XL2 blowing on them :ohwell:

a review is to find max, you don't run 2.4v everyday unless you have some good cooling ;)

cuz they didnt ask if i did the MIR and well i never fell like reading that stuff at the bottom but it doesnt say if it has a copy of the UPC just if its missing :ohwell: they are already going to send me a pair should be here by tuesday

i have a 120mm on the side
a hole for a 120mm under
a 120mm on the thermalright si-128 that is above the ram
and a 140mm fan on the front and they're still hot :ohwell:

you didnt read all my post did you lol but right now there lil warm not alot windows closed but there at 2.3v right now at stock speeds
but when the windows open the HS is cold all the time on the ram

you should send them with the original hs, removing the original hs makes you loose the warranty, at least in portugal

Memtest also works with a cdrom and just as well. I would use that to check.

well i toke one off before cuz i wanted to see what kind of chips they have, they dont have any tape thing on the HS if removed it voids the warranty, thats why i wanted to change them cuz on the Boxand the sticker on the HS has the codes for the mem, and i had cut out the UPC code for the MIR but taped a copy back on the box cuz newegg doesnt take back if the UPC missing but it doesnt say if you have a copy of it :ohwell:
