I have system running same as in specs(reset defaults). I keep seeing in bios and windows monitors that all my voltages are low. I found online a way to test the lines comming in to mobo , and all voltages at the plugs are in spec(while comp is runnin)?????? I guess the question is why the huge difference, and what #'s should I go by??
cpu-z says low like 11.6 on 12V but multimeter says 12.10V.....bois says 11.8V
core temp says what is asked for but doesnt show real V's and nextsensor and ITS smartguardian show lowVolts:banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

The multimeter dosen't lie. Bios could be reading wrong.

thats what i figured but with all this the voltage is always low on core 0 and way high on core 1 and causing heat on OC5895see what I mean?

It stands to reason that since there is no way for the motherboard to limit voltage to one core (That I know of), then both have to be getting the same voltage. Sometimes the sensors go screwy.
My DFI AD77 infinity mobo for my XP 2200 machine will suddenly start blaring warning whistles claiming that the CPU temp is at 115*C. A quick restart and it will be fine.

DFI Boards are good but their sensors are sometimes whacko. Like 3.91 on 5V, I mean after the next boot up (I knew the sensors were having a bad day), it was fine again.

is there any way to remedy the core voltage issue tho between the cores . core a is 1.296 and core b is 1.472....that just seems way off ! When I oc i get a thermal shutdown cuz core b or 1 is overvolted and gets hot when I increase voltage to CPU?????
and just so u fellas know this is an everyday issue these numbers dont change with a restart!

I am really leaning toward bad sensor here. RMA the board and see if it fixes it.

Just checking, I am in the same boat. No friends have anything over a socket A, so when my ASrock went on the fritz, I was making a trip to frys.
It has got to be bad sensors on that mobo though.

talked to shawn at DFI and he seemed to say hmmmmm alot in that "that seems odd" sort of way....lol. One good bit of info tho is it is still under warranty through DFI. I'll have to prolly tear this thing down and ship it away.....man is my lady gonna be tired of me by the time thats over!!!!!
