Basically when I sell my old rig in like a couple weeks or so just wanted to see if this is a good setup with a budget of $1000-$1050, now just need a DVD drive, not much worried tho
any suggestions are welcome!

the case seems a bit plasticy
but then again, i never was a fan of that particular style of case

just watch out for flimsy case doors where possible

EDIT - id also go for a video card with a better fan (one of my old cards with a fan setup like that was really loud because the fan was so small)
get a HIS or a Powercolour or something with an Artic Cooler on it?

like nothing...most optical drives usually go max around 25-30mb/s..

Sata optical are only popular for people who wants to add another drive to their pre-bulit machine. Companies like HP now use only sata, their units don't have IDE anymore!
