Someone told me before about a flash for your ram that would make it think or act as if it was a level up ram, like Kingston value to Kingston Hyper X... Where can I get information on this?

Meh I was being stupid SPD Tool...
But I don't have a slightest clue as to what I could do with my ram...
It's Corsair XMS2 DDR675 512x2
CM2X512-5400C4
Anyone have a clue what I may be able to do with this if anything?

Or is what I can do with this program being my ram is already matched is only do basically what I can do in my bios anyways, change the timings and such? Thats what it has been looking like...
Heh, learning a bit this morning, I decided to un-overclock my machine and it tried to drop my multiplier to x12 from x14.... Wondering why my machine has been dog slow lately...

basically you can use spd tool to set your ram to default to the timings and speeds you use by changing the rams bios instead of having your motherboard do it through its bios

Flashing the RAM SPD will gain you nothing performance wise. But there's a chance of killing the module.
Also note that tampering with your SPD will void your warranty.

Ya if I blow it I'll buy new stuff. Once I OC I have a moral problem with sending it back on warranty anyways so I don't do it.
Thats about what I figured out, it's already running
320mhz 3:4 timing at 4-4-4-12
