dfi CFX3200 DR windows boot temporary hangup

sup dudes this thread is just here for anyone looking for info on this problem

well anyway on this motherboard it will sometimes hang during boot (windows xp) for about a minute

i eventually found a way to fix this problem in the bios. I set "acpi c3" to disable and "usb keyboard support" to disable (oddly enough they both seem to be able to cause this problem)

Fixed the same thing buy disabling usb keyboard and usb mouse, works like a charm now!

havent sat down and really tried till now tho lol :p (i only had usb kb enabled tho but i guess usb mouse does it too along with acpi c3)


what kinda oc have you gotten on it btw? all i can get is about 280 stable though i havent sat down and messed with the voltages yet (havent had need for more than 250 fsb though id like to try to push it to 300 for ocing purposes got ny tips?)

im "out of phaz3" on aim btw

i can get 300 on stock voltage and 322 @1.52v, this board is really really picky, you gota do a butt ton of experimenting for stability, i'll add you on aim so we can talk a little easier, i'll write down my settings
