well i got vista today, installed it.it went pretty well apart from nvidias crappy driver, which installed but locks up windows if i set it to 1280x1024(mmmmm).apart from that it has gone pretty well, media centre has picked up my tv stick(freecom usb) and is working fine.it activated fine and i got about 6 or 7 updates.i have not tried no games on it yet but i will try vegas later and see how it goes.upto now i am kinda impressed,it looks smart and seems pretty quick.it is using 40% of my mem with just windows running and this(NEED another gb).i will keep updating this thread with my thoughts, findings and of course problems.all my drivers are in and working, upto now i have'nt even used my mb disc and all my devices on device manager are happy.

btw,the x-fi driver went in ok,apart from freezing on the control console things install,i restared tho' and it seems fine.i have sound.i dont know how the x-fi is running tho'.

the install was differant to the hookey version i tried,i did a full install as before and it was slightly differant.could this release version be slightly differant to the rtm versions anyone?

btw does anyone know what the shield means on the xfire icon?

edit,i just noticed something mad,if i scroll the internet explorer window up and down with the side bar,the cpu usage goes UP.weird.

Looks nice...
I could get vista just to see how it runs on cards such as my X550.
