My question which one of the bottom 2 memory timings is better and why?

2.5-3-3-7

2.5-3-3-6

Lower timings BUT you will not notice the difference

2.5 +3 +3 = 8.5 or 8

so its better 2.5-3-3-7

well that looks like DDR 1 timings ...So I would say best or at least better is 1T and 2-3-3-5

is pretty reasonable if you have brand name ram and even value ram will do it if not overclocked too high.

I have got a problem i have heard that cas+trcd+trp should equal tras + or - 1. But i have got my timings to 2.5-3-3-6 with running memtest86 for 2 hours with no error why is that the mem i am using hynix pc3200 running at (206mhz).

its not a prblem that tras makes any erorrs its only beter perfomance...:)

Thats a logical approach which does not always work, some timings have a much greater impact than others on performance such as CAS for instance.

i have 2-2-2-11...its a Geil one (Winbond chip BH-5) i had 2-2-2-5 and whit 11 it prooved to be a better perfomance..
