I figured some airflow over the memory would knock a few degs off it since I'm running it at 2.4v. Take one el-cheapo fan, some automotive vacuum tubing, and fan screws. Screw the fan screws part way into the fan. Find some tubing with an outside diameter that just fits inbetween your memory sticks. Push a 3/4" length of the tubing over the screws on the fan. Press the fan into place on top of the memory. -done- see pics...

EDIT - Wow I guess even a minimal amount of airflow down there really helps! My System zone 1 and system zone 2 temps dropped from 35/35 to 31/30 respectivly. :rockout:

cool

probably better if you could get some of those cables outta the way (reverse mount some drives maybe?)

I can't reverse mount the drives. There in slip in cages that have 80mm fans in the front of them. I know, it's messy, but I'm not going for show. This powersupply is a disaster though. The wires from the psu to the connectors are different lenghts and looped over each other a few times so they don't play nice. Damn you Antec! Untangle them BEFORE you solder them in!!

I had the same problem with my drives
the case doesnt allow you to because it uses quick release clips to hold the drives
i suppose i could screw them in, but im lazy
