Guys I need some help here. I purchased a new asus mobo and I am having issues with it not showing video.

I have installed a few mobo’s in my day and I know that normally it means my memory would be the reason. But when I install my ram, processor, video card and power supply ONLY the machine will not display any video once I crank it up but the fan on the processor is running.
MOBO - ASUS P5ND2-SLI http://www.hothardware.com/viewarticle.aspx?articleid=675&cid=3
RAM - SAMSUNG 1GB DDRII PC5300
CPU – INTEL CORE 2 DUO Processor E6400
2.13 Ghz , 1066 FSB , 2MB l2 Cache
http://processorfinder.intel.com/details.aspx?sSpec=SL9S9
VIDEO – GeForce 7300 GS
POWER SUPPLY – ISO-500D 450w

At first I thaught it was just the board so I rma’d it back to asus and I have received another board and I am having the same issue.

Thanks in advance for any advice!

Could be a few things.
First make sure that all power connectors are plugged in.
For example if you forget to plug in the 4 pin power connect, the fans will spin, but you wont get any power to anything else.

Once that is done, check to see if its your memory is bad or if the board doesnt like your memory.
That usually is the culprit.

yea i plugged the 24 pin and 4pin connecter in and i know the memory works because i put it in another machine to test it.

have you tried a pci card?
if you can get into bios with an older card im sure its just a bios setting. or you may need to update bios.

Try taking the memory out of the mobo and turn on the computer.
Does the mobo beep?
If it doesnt than it is no good and you need to RMA it again.
