2k?

Ok sooo wilst i wa reparing my system i found that i have windows 2000 pro amoung my collection and i was just wondering do think i should use it?...i installed it just to get a blast from the past and on install it only takes up lik 430mb were as my xp pro or home take up about 1.04 gig do you think i should use 2000? for the preformance? because it seems i can mod alot but will their be any problems with games or anyting? should i just stick with xp?

Well XP is based on 2k and the NT system. So you may get some performance boost due to a lighter weight OS but really...just stick with xp.

Strangely enuff i just hunted thru some cds the other day and came across my shiny hologram plastered win 2000 cd too :) aint used it for sooo long. just thought id mention that since it was a bit coincidental...

Ya i was just riffling through my kit for 1 of my 3 98disks (because it has a good format tool) and i came acroos 2 2000pro disks and i was like WOW i like forgot were these were and i hadent really thought of them out of site out of mind...so i plugged um in and have just been playing with it.

now all i want is.....95 i really want 95 and 2003 and ill be happy

Hehe i have 95 on floppy and 3.1 too :p

also got DOS sitting around somewhere, including its HUGE instruction manual, lol they were big back in the days...
