Well hopefully someone here can help me out, I know there are some hardcore zap heads around here...

Basically I'm trying to figure out how I would convert say 12volts at 70watts DC to 120volts AC watts =x???

I just need a formula without dealing with loss and stuff I can figure that much in. But I'm looking at setting something with a few solar panels and nice batteries just for myself for the fun of it, and heck may even save a few bucks on my electric bill.

Never mind its late again and my brain wasn't working very well...
What else is new I have to stop thinking about really technical stuff when its like 4:30am..

Anyways if anyone was curious....Watts stay solid.

So 12volt at 70 watts = 120volt at 70 watts.
Which obviously means 5.8 amps at 12volt
and only .58 amps at 120volt..

Wow brain just wasn't working to well..
Then of course you just plan out amp hours to your batteries.

By the way if you are planning on anything like this try to calculate it all out for around 70% efficiency and then leave yourself some power so you don't push things too hard.
