wireless key?

hey i dont know if this is the right place to ask this but here it goes. when i open the IE on my laptop i sometimes connects and sometimes it doesnt but i check to see the signal and it is high and i guess it is blocked and it asks for a key how can i get a key to unblock the network? i dont have a router.

Well, hate to break it to you, but....hijacking another person's wifi is illegal. I've heard of people jailed doing exactly what you're doing. And hacking the WEP key would add insult to injury, and be quite incriminating. I suggest you spend the $45 on your own router (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16833162173), pay for your own fast internet, and promise never to do this again.
